Achieving Magnet status demonstrates our dedication to not only providing the best possible nursing care, and also upholds the traditions of superior care and service of the professional nursing practice.
Distinguished Hospital Award
Miami Valley Hospital’s outstanding quality performance has earned us the HealthGrades’ Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence™. This award recognizes our hospital ranked in the nation’s top five percent. Patients receiving care from a hospital with this distinction are less likely to face mortality or suffer from a major complication. In 2007, only 266 of the nation’s 4,971 non-federal hospitals received this honor.
